Guardians of Restoration launched on Steam on August 24 with 56 boss encounters at the center of its robot-action roguelite. Creative Gorae asks players to read projectile patterns, wait for openings and assemble a different weapon build during every run.
Guardians of Restoration: confirmed launch features
Four playable robots each carry five passive skills. Every machine has three main weapons, while 11 sub-weapons are shared across the roster and each weapon branches into two skill trees. Level-ups offer skill cards, and shops can improve signature special attacks with limited charges.
How the central mechanic works
Boss familiarity does not remove every surprise because some opponents choose one of three special attacks at random. That variation puts a premium on recognizing the opening animation instead of memorizing one fixed script. Currency, items and permanent robot upgrades provide another route through encounters that initially overwhelm raw reflexes.
