Breachline launched on Steam on August 23 as a neon science-fiction tower-defense game with 14 towers and 229 upgrade nodes. Andrew Games compresses its full campaign into roughly 45 minutes and 50 waves, including ten boss encounters involving six multi-phase boss designs.
Breachline: confirmed launch details
Laser, Plasma, Mortar, Salvo, Arc Coil and Railgun towers cover different damage patterns. Pyro counters regeneration, EMP removes shields, Acid weakens armor and Beacons improve nearby towers. Fourteen enemy types include flyers, burrowers, cloaked units, teleporters and enemies that split when killed.
What the design asks from players
The explicit counter system makes scouting more useful than repeatedly building one efficient turret. A Scanner solves invisibility but occupies resources that do not directly damage ordinary targets. Six upgrade trees let favorite towers specialize, yet a deep investment can become a liability when the next mechanic demands another tool.
Platform and release context
Breachline is a Windows single-player release with a complete 50-wave run and no Early Access label. The published tower and upgrade counts describe available systems, not 229 separate units. Balance changes can alter efficient paths, but the enemy-counter relationships define the current design.
The feature list reflects the developer’s official Steam information published for the August 23, 2026 release. Post-launch patches can change balance, compatibility or content, so the live store page and current build remain the final references.
