Valorant Challengers Americas LCQ sends one team to Play-Ins

The Valorant Challengers Americas LCQ places the second seeds from Latin America, North America and Brazil into one final qualifier. Only the winner advances to VCT Americas Play-Ins and keeps a route toward Stage 2 and Champions Shanghai open.

The LCQ began July 28 with a three-team round robin. Its design separates the direct regional winners from the runners-up while preserving one additional cross-regional place.

Valorant Challengers Americas LCQ has no spare match

Each team plays the other two during the round robin. The third-place finisher is eliminated, while the top two advance to a best-of-five grand final on July 29.

That structure makes map differential and complete series performance important from the opening match. With only three participants, a single poor result cannot be diluted across a long league stage.

The final winner completes the Challengers representation for VCT Americas Play-Ins. There, qualified teams face International League organizations for places in Stage 2, creating a direct competitive link between tier two and the 2026 Champions race.

Play-Ins are the next gate toward Champions

Winning the LCQ does not grant a Champions berth. It grants entry to Play-Ins, where the level of opposition changes and the team must earn its place in the main Stage 2 competition.
