Cow launched on Steam on August 23 as an arcade platformer about a skateboarding cow crossing a volcano above lava. ZDEsy builds the release around more than 60 increasingly difficult levels, instant restarts and short attempts that reward momentum, obstacle timing and trick chains.

Cow: confirmed launch details

Hazards include swinging hammers, rolling spiked balls, police cars and blinding milk attacks. Players collect steaks during stages and use high-score progress to unlock additional skins. There are no story intermissions between attempts, keeping the structure focused on reaching the finish and improving a run.

What the design asks from players

Instant respawns matter because a precision game can turn waiting into more frustration than failure itself. Collectibles tempt players away from the safest line, while trick chains introduce a scoring reason to take risks even after the exit becomes reachable. Cosmetic rewards provide goals without changing obstacle physics.

Platform and release context

Cow is a Windows single-player release from ZDEsy and is not labeled Early Access. Its title is intentionally broad, but the actual design is a fast stage-based skateboarding platformer. Players should expect repeated mechanical challenges rather than simulation or an open skating world.

The feature list reflects the developer’s official Steam information published for the August 23, 2026 release. Post-launch patches can change balance, compatibility or content, so the live store page and current build remain the final references.
