Puzzle Loot launched on Steam on August 21 as a roguelite role-playing game fought on a 7×7 tap puzzle grid. Abejo Games combines block clearing with monster damage, equipment and repeated reincarnation as 12 playable classes climb toward the Demon Lord’s Castle.

Puzzle Loot: confirmed launch details

Every run creates a new opportunity to collect gear and refine a class plan. Reincarnation resets the immediate climb while supporting continued progression, and a bounty system changes the objectives or rewards that deserve attention. The controls are built around selecting groups on the compact board rather than executing timed action inputs.

What the design asks from players

A 7×7 field is small enough to read quickly but still allows short-term clears to affect later options. The correct group is not necessarily the largest if it leaves the class exposed on the next monster turn. Twelve classes should also change which colors, equipment effects or bounty conditions have the highest value.

Platform and release context

Puzzle Loot is a Windows single-player release with mouse-only and untimed play options, color alternatives and save-anytime support. Steam presents it as a full launch. The exact pace of reincarnation and bounty rewards belongs to the live build, so early optimization claims should identify their tested version.

The feature list reflects the developer’s official Steam information available on August 21, 2026. Post-launch patches can change balance, compatibility or content, so the live store page and current build remain the final references.
