Liquid won the TI 2024 grand final in three games.

Team Liquid defeated Gaimin Gladiators 3–0 at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena on September 15, 2024, to win The International. The result delivered a second Aegis to the organization after its TI7 triumph.

How the final unfolded

Liquid reached the grand final through the upper bracket and never allowed the rematch to become a long series. Their three wins repeatedly denied Gaimin the snowballing map control that had powered the team through previous elite events. Clean objective transitions kept each advantage moving toward buildings and Roshan rather than stalling.

The decisive factor

Neta “33” Shapira’s flexible offlane pool helped Liquid shape favorable drafts, while Michael “miCKe” Vu and Michał “Nisha” Jankowski converted the space into reliable damage. Aydin “Insania” Sarkohi and Samuel “Boxi” Svahn connected lanes through support movement. The sweep was collective control, not a single highlight carrying three games.

What the result means

Liquid finally reversed a painful recent pattern against Gaimin, who had beaten them in multiple grand finals during 2023. The victory also made 33 a two-time TI winner after his 2022 title with Tundra. For Liquid’s long-standing core, Copenhagen turned repeated deep runs into the defining trophy of competitive Dota.
