The Planetfall Earthshaker Arcana arrived through the 2019 Battle Pass at level 375. Its fiction merges Earthshaker with a fragment from another world, allowing the cosmetic to turn familiar stone, fissures and impacts into a celestial visual system.
Planetfall Earthshaker Arcana: visual language
The redesigned model mixes broken earth with luminous blue energy and a changed pedestal. Cracks act as boundaries between physical mass and the power inside it. The alternate Burning Descent style shifts the color toward a hotter atmospheric entry without abandoning the fractured silhouette.
Animation and audio
Planetfall includes custom animations, Echo Slam effects, a Blink Dagger effect, stun treatment and a death effect for heroes killed by the ultimate. A combo counter records rapid ability chains, then displays damage and personal records. More than 500 Arcana-specific voice lines extend the transformation beyond particles.
Readability during play
Fissure remains a long blocking line, Enchant Totem still concentrates power around the next attack and Echo Slam expands from Earthshaker’s position. The effects are elaborate, but their direction follows the underlying spells. As with every cosmetic, they provide no mechanical advantage.
Production context
Valve’s official page documented the level requirement and a second style unlocked after 500 kills or assists with Echo Slam. It also added matching support for the Judgement of the Fallen Immortal totem. The acquisition path belongs to the 2019 Battle Pass and should not be confused with ordinary shop availability.
Why the design lasts
Planetfall uses progression to reinforce the hero fantasy: repeated Echo Slams reveal the atmospheric second style, while the combo record celebrates chained initiation. Its durability comes from treating every asset—model, icons, voice and movement—as evidence of the same cosmic collision.
This article evaluates cosmetic craft and documented history rather than market value. Availability and prices can change, and no cosmetic provides a mechanical advantage.
