Dota 2 support laning notes that lead to better practice

Useful notes connect one lane event to the decision it changes thirty seconds later.

Fantasy MOBA support reviewing lane notes beside a glowing map
A useful note connects a lane event to the next decision.

Open a replay and divide the first ten minutes into one-minute windows. For each window, record only three items: lane position, health-and-mana advantage and the next available pull or stack timing.

Find the decision event

Mark the spell, trade or creep movement that changed one of those three items. Avoid labeling the result as simply good or bad. State what the support could know at the time.

Connect the next action

Write the preferred response: contest the pull, protect the ranged creep, trade resources or leave the lane. Then check whether the core understood the same plan.

Build one repeatable cue

Finish the review with a short phrase for the next scrim, such as “wave first, pull second” or “mana advantage means contest.”

Review two lanes from the same matchup. The comparison helps separate a recurring decision problem from one unusual opponent move.
