Kritzel Krieg makes every drawn pixel a combat stat
Kritzel Krieg makes every drawn pixel a combat stat. Heftrand Games links unit size to cost and strength across eight classes, base floors, special tools…
Kritzel Krieg launched free on Steam on August 22 with a lane-battler economy measured in hand-drawn pixels. Players sketch every soldier, turret, base floor and profile avatar on squared notebook paper, and the amount of ink directly determines combat strength and price.
Kritzel Krieg: confirmed launch features
Large drawings gain more health and damage but cost more gold. Eight classes unlock across base tiers: Brawler, Dasher, Archer, Chunk, Healer, Bomber, Banner and Catapult. Adding a hand-drawn floor raises base health and income while opening access to the next troop group.
How the central mechanic works
Special pencil-case abilities include an Eraser, Ink Splat Rain, Sharpener and Slow-Mo. Long matches trigger a teacher event that damages both bases and forces a conclusion. Because every saved doodle has different dimensions, players effectively design the statistics and appearance of their own reusable army.
Release and platform context
Kritzel Krieg supports Windows, bot battles at three difficulties, online and LAN PvP, friend invitations, Quick Match and leaderboards. The interface is available in German and English. Steam lists it as free to play without advertising an Early Access label.
