Sisyphus Idle puts an endless climb on the desktop. Lazymangamestudio turns repeated summits into Will points, permanent Sparks, automation, offline gains…

Sisyphus Idle launched on Steam on August 24 as a desktop incremental game in which the mythological prisoner never finishes his task. Zeus sends the boulder back after every summit, but each failed conclusion becomes currency for a faster and more automated attempt.

Sisyphus Idle: confirmed launch features

Completed climbs award Will points for speed, endurance, toughness and stamina recovery. Summit counts unlock stronger effects, new routes and larger or unusual boulders. A rebirth resets ordinary bonuses in exchange for Sparks, which provide permanent improvements and eventually automate allocation, purchases and interactions.

How the central mechanic works

The narrow companion window shows each climb, rest and lightning strike while other work continues. It can collapse into a navigation bar or tuck against the screen edge. Offline progress runs at reduced efficiency, so the desktop presentation is useful context rather than a requirement to leave the full animation visible.

Release and platform context

Sisyphus Idle is a Windows single-player release with achievements and Steam Cloud. The listing includes seven regular boulder materials and 20 hidden skins earned through later challenges and Spark draws. It does not advertise online competition or in-app purchases.
