EnVyUs sweep NAVI to win DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015

Team EnVyUs defeated Natus Vincere 2–0 on November 1 to win DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015. The French lineup took Train 16–14 and Cobblestone 16–5 to secure the organization’s only CS:GO Major title.

Road to the final

EnVyUs survived a difficult route that included a quarterfinal against Fnatic and a semifinal against G2. NAVI eliminated Luminosity and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Both sides entered the final with elite AWPers, but EnVyUs carried more consistent rifle pressure across the closing matches.

Train remained balanced until the final rounds, with EnVyUs finding the narrow 16–14 finish. Cobblestone was different. The French side established control early, denied NAVI’s economy and closed 16–5 before the underdog could build a defensive run.

Winning the close first map changed the economic and emotional conditions of the series. On Cobblestone, EnVyUs paired fast entries with effective trading so NAVI’s isolated defenders rarely received a second fight. apEX was named tournament MVP after repeatedly creating those openings.

Why the result matters

The title rewarded the French core after its earlier Major near misses and confirmed EnVyUs as the strongest team of that autumn. For NAVI, it was another deep Major run without the final step. The contrast between a tense Train and decisive Cobblestone remains the series’ clearest story.
