Sea of Thieves Wild Things expands the Hunter’s Call
Sea of Thieves Wild Things expands the Hunter’s Call with new Megalodons, Fishing Voyages, Treasured Fish, Emissary play and 100 levels. Read the verified.
Rare launched Sea of Thieves Season 15: Wild Things on February 20, 2025. The opening update focused on the Hunter’s Call trading company, adding new Megalodon variants and a fuller progression route for crews who prefer hunting and fishing.
Sea of Thieves Wild Things: what arrived
The Hunter’s Call reputation cap rose from 50 to 100 and gained an Emissary system. Fishing Voyages direct crews toward particular catches, while Treasured Fish provide higher-value targets. Two new Megalodons, the Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread, joined the seas with distinct behaviours. Commendations, rewards and seasonal progression supported the expanded loop.
How the update changes play
Fishing previously depended heavily on knowing locations, bait and patience without much voyage structure. Dedicated contracts give a crew a clearer objective while preserving the uncertainty of travel and other players. Emissary status creates a familiar risk-and-reward ladder: raising the flag improves potential returns but makes a valuable ship more visible to hostile crews.
What players should know
Season 15 developed through multiple monthly updates, so the February launch did not contain every feature associated with Wild Things. Crews should also remember that emergent threats can interrupt a fishing route at any point. Reputation, commendations and cosmetics persist differently from time-limited seasonal rewards.
This report describes the confirmed release at the stated date. Live games may change through hotfixes, rotations and later seasons, so an archived feature should not be treated as permanently available in every current playlist.
