Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 adds AutoDrive and four vehicles
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 adds four vehicles, AutoDrive, Delamain cabs, expanded CrystalCoat options and major Photo Mode improvements. Read the verified.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 launched on July 17, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its headline additions were four vehicles, AutoDrive, on-demand Delamain cabs and a wider set of Photo Mode controls.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3: what changed
AutoDrive can follow a selected job objective or map pin and offers a free-roam cruise when no destination is set. A cinematic camera supports the feature. The update added the Yaiba Semimaru, Rayfield Caliburn Mordred, Yaiba Muramasa and Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila, with acquisition split between jobs and the Autofixer store. Photo Mode gained more characters, outfits, lighting tools, weather and time controls.
Why it matters
Automated travel does not replace manual driving during combat, but it changes how players experience familiar routes. The cinematic camera encourages observation instead of treating every trip as dead time. New vehicle jobs also give long-finished saves concrete objectives without inventing another main storyline.
What players should check
Players should check the quest prerequisites listed for reward vehicles before assuming an Autofixer entry is missing. PC users should compare the added upscaling and frame-generation options with supported drivers and hardware. Later Patch 2.31 refined AutoDrive, so the current behaviour may be smoother than the original 2.3 implementation.
The release information above describes confirmed content at publication. Later hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so players should verify the current build before treating an older detail as permanent.
