CS2 Inferno B Execute Guide for Premier Season 5

Learn a reliable CS2 Inferno B execute for Premier Season 5 with Banana control, coordinated utility, entry spacing, plant choices and post-plant roles.

Counter-Strike 2 players executing onto Inferno B site
A reliable Inferno B execute begins with Banana control and a shared utility timer.

Inferno B is narrow enough that one defender’s utility can delay an entire team, but open enough after entry that poor spacing wastes the advantage. A repeatable execute begins by earning Banana control, tracking defensive grenades and assigning every late piece of utility before the final call.

Preparation and win condition

Use a five-player structure with two early Banana utility players, a trade-ready rifle behind them, one player protecting the anti-push or late flank, and a carrier whose route is never first through a smoke. The exact grenade lineups should be rehearsed separately; the match plan explains when they are valuable and what happens if one is missing.

Step-by-step plan

  1. Take Banana without emptying the inventory. Counter the first molotov and HE pattern with only the utility required to survive and gain the next corner. Do not throw the execute smokes during a fight for logs. Clear close positions together, preserve health where possible and note every defensive incendiary or smoke that lands.
  2. Establish the car and half-wall checkpoint. Once the close space is safe, place rifles where they can trade a defender peeking for information. Avoid stacking all five players in one grenade line. The flank holder can begin moving closer only after the team confirms that the opposite side cannot reach Banana unseen.
  3. Synchronise CT and coffins utility. Name a single throw time. CT smoke removes the long rotation sightline, while coffins smoke or a clearing molotov isolates the back-site fight. A flash should pop above the entry rather than blind the first attacker. If a required grenade is lost, call the replacement or cancel before players run through different versions of the plan.
  4. Enter as a chain, not a crowd. The first player clears the closest lethal angle, the second trades and checks the complementary position, and the third protects the plant route or extends toward construction. Do not make every rifler inspect the same corner. The carrier waits until the fighting players own enough site for a plant.
  5. Plant for the surviving map control. Default is useful when construction and Banana are controlled, but an open plant can support a different post-plant if CT is secure. Choose from the space the team actually owns. After the bomb goes down, one player protects the smoke exit, one holds the fastest defuse path and the remaining rifles avoid offering separate duels.

How to communicate it

Call remaining defensive utility and name the execute timer. “One B smoke and both incendiaries used; execute on my flash” is actionable. During entry, use positions rather than damage guesses. After the plant, state who watches CT smoke, who owns construction and who can swing on contact.

Keep calls short enough to act on. State the next space, the resource that makes it safe and the condition that cancels the play. Separate confirmed information from a guess: “two seen” is useful, while “everyone is here” may cause the team to abandon the rest of the map without evidence.

Adaptation rules

Against repeated Banana aggression, add a third early rifle or a delayed anti-flash instead of forcing the original two-player route. If defenders surrender Banana, hold the gained space and pressure their limited utility. When CT smoke is missing, a construction-heavy split or a late rotation may be safer than pretending the sightline is removed.

A guide is a decision framework, not a script that must finish after its assumptions fail. If the opponent preserves a key cooldown, changes a defensive angle or reaches the objective first, return to the purpose of the step. Replace the tool, delay the timing or choose another route instead of completing familiar inputs into a known counter.

Practice routine

Load Inferno with the team and repeat the utility sequence until all grenades land within one second of the call. Then add two defenders who alternate between close aggression and passive site positions. Track whether attackers arrive with at least one post-plant grenade and whether the carrier dies before beginning the plant.

Record one measurable result at a time: arrival timing, resources remaining, first-trade success or objective conversion. Three reviewed repetitions create a better baseline than ten attempts performed without checking why they worked. Once the baseline is stable, introduce one enemy response so practice still resembles a match.

Common mistakes

The usual errors are overspending utility before car, lining up five players for HE damage, flashing after the entry has already committed and planting while an uncleared defender still owns construction. Teams also lose won entries by chasing CT through a smoke instead of building crossfires around the bomb.

Final checklist

  • Confirm the objective and the first responsibility.
  • Check the resource or information that makes the play safe.
  • Name the condition that cancels the plan.
  • Convert the advantage or reset instead of lingering.
