SCP Foundation: Universe Horror launched on Steam on August 21 as a first-person survival game set after containment fails inside a secret facility. Great Ave Games asks players to explore sealed corridors, manage scarce resources and decide when an anomaly should be confronted or avoided.

SCP Foundation: Universe Horror: confirmed launch details

The facility contains recognizable SCP entities and new anomalies inspired by the wider fiction. Each has its own behavior and attack pattern, so survival depends on observation rather than one universal escape routine. Dynamic AI is intended to vary encounters, while locked areas and hidden threats complicate navigation through the dark complex.

What the design asks from players

Limited supplies make information as important as equipment. Spending an item to survive one encounter may leave the player exposed to an entity whose rules have not yet been learned. Unpredictable behavior should also make careless repetition risky, even after the basic route through an area becomes familiar.

Platform and release context

The official listing confirms a Windows single-player release from Great Ave Games. It does not advertise cooperative play or an Early Access label. Because the project draws from collaborative SCP fiction, its use of specific concepts should not be confused with an official game made by one central franchise owner.

The feature list reflects the developer’s official Steam information available on August 21, 2026. Post-launch patches can change balance, compatibility or content, so the live store page and current build remain the final references.
