Food Fight entered Early Access on August 21 with a grid-based autobattler roguelike set in a possessed kitchen. Players choose one of 14 classes and draft from more than 200 snacks, relics and spectral options, then arrange a team across eight slots before its attacks resolve automatically.

Food Fight: confirmed details

Units can be upgraded from Bronze through Platinum. Themed crates range from curated shelves to budget bins and mystery packs, while each floor can apply a helpful or harmful aura. Bosses add hazards that change the grid problem, and the campaign descends through eight floors on Windows or Linux.

What changes for players

Because snacks attack on cooldowns, the important decisions happen between fights: which unit to buy, where it belongs and whether a risky crate improves the current class plan. Fourteen classes encourage different priorities such as lifesteal, poison, tempo or durability instead of one universal shopping list.

Timing and wider context

Midnight Pixel labels the current version Early Access, so its roster, balance and progression can expand or change. More than 200 options describes the available pool, not 200 individually controllable combatants. Players should read recent notes before comparing builds because upgrade values may move during development.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 21, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For Food Fight, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
