Flora Parasocial launched on Steam on August 21 as a death-game visual novel about 12 participants who can communicate only through chat rooms. Their confinement is broadcast to an online audience, turning every alliance, argument and moral decision into a performance judged by spectators outside the game.

Flora Parasocial: confirmed launch details

At least one death occurs every three days through minigames that can involve social ranking or a vote over who should go. The planned story includes a prologue and three chapters, with later chapters intended to branch into substantially different routes. Only Chapter 1 is available in the current release.

What the design asks from players

Restricting conversation to chat removes physical reassurance and makes every message easy to misread. The livestream adds another audience whose perception can reward behavior that is dangerous inside the group. Social votes therefore test both genuine trust and the image each participant has constructed for people they cannot directly confront.

Platform and release context

Laments_VN developed and published the Windows single-player release. Future chapters and routes are announced as free updates, but they are planned content rather than part of today’s build. Buyers should base the immediate value on the prologue and first chapter that can actually be played now.

The feature list reflects the developer’s official Steam information available on August 21, 2026. Post-launch patches can change balance, compatibility or content, so the live store page and current build remain the final references.
