Teardown Greenwash Gambit now supports cooperative multiplayer throughout its full story campaign. Up to 12 players can join, although Tuxedo Labs recommends groups of two to four for the best experience.

Teardown Greenwash Gambit: confirmed details

All four DLC maps are available in multiplayer sessions. Campaign tools become multiplayer mods, while anti-gravity crystals and other unique objects can be spawned for shared destruction experiments outside the normal mission flow.

What changes for players

Co-op changes planning because several players can prepare routes, move objects and trigger destruction at once. The 12-player ceiling supports large sandbox sessions, but the developer’s smaller recommendation suggests the authored campaign is easier to read with a focused group.

Timing and wider context

Every participant in a Greenwash Gambit session must own the DLC. The base game still provides other official and community multiplayer content for groups whose members do not all have the expansion.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 18, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For Teardown, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
