ReStory patch 1.0.013r arrived on August 21 with five save slots and fixes for several progression blockers. Mandragora targeted bought licenses, main-story orders and other failures that could interrupt the electronics-repair campaign.

ReStory patch 1.0.013r: confirmed details

The update repairs items lost in the sonic bath, serious memory leaks, Asian fonts, duplicated tutorials, soldering, inventory sorting and selected fictional devices. It adds gamepad tooltips, corrects dialogue selection and firmware updating on a controller, and improves support for older Intel-based Mac hardware.

What changes for players

Multiple save slots make experimentation less risky, but the blocker fixes are the more urgent change for existing campaigns. Players previously stuck after buying a license or accepting a main order should update before restarting. Memory work may also help longer sessions where the workshop accumulated enough objects and interfaces to expose leaks.

Release and platform context

ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs is available on Windows and macOS. Patch 1.0.013r downloads through Steam, and its old-Mac fix specifically names Intel machines rather than promising universal performance gains. Players should preserve an older save before troubleshooting a campaign that was already affected by a progression bug.
