The ESO Straight to the Crate Golden Pursuits campaign lets players earn up to 20 Crown Crates through gameplay until September 17. Four milestones each award five crates, with the final set unlocked after completing 18 activities from the event list in the Activity Finder.

ESO Straight to the Crate: confirmed details

Four completed activities grant five Xanmeer crates, nine grant five Wraithtide crates, 14 grant five Scalecaller crates and 18 grant five Diamond Anniversary crates. Objectives include accessible tasks such as quests, fishing, defeating enemies and clearing public dungeons, so progression is spread across different play styles rather than one endgame mode.

What changes for players

Players who want every free crate should follow the Golden Pursuits tracker because ordinary activity outside a listed objective may not count. The rewards contain randomised collectibles and items; receiving 20 crates does not guarantee one specific rare cosmetic. No Crown purchase is required to complete the four gameplay milestones.

Timing and wider context

All four crate types also rotate through the Crown Store on different dates during the campaign, with Xanmeer remaining listed through September 24. That paid availability is separate from the free milestone sets. The Golden Pursuits campaign itself ends September 17, so unfinished objectives should be completed before the live timer expires.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 21, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For The Elder Scrolls Online, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
