Space Engineers Hotfix 1.210.014 reverts the recent Wheel Propulsion Override change after players reported broken mech builds. Keen Software House says it will pursue a more robust solution without disrupting existing constructs.

The hotfix also makes jetpack bottles refuel before the Fuel low voice line triggers, repairs side conveyors on the Flat Collector and stops stations with subgrids from moving farther out of place after attachment or world reload.
What changes for players
Reverting the override restores expected behavior for existing machines, which is safer than asking builders to redesign around a temporary rule. Already displaced bases are not automatically restored and may require a version 209 backup or careful Scenario Edit repositioning.
Timing and wider context
The developer recommends disabling damage before moving an affected base with Scenario Edit tools. Backups remain essential because the hotfix prevents additional offset but cannot reconstruct every already altered world.
The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 14, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.
For Space Engineers, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
