The Battlefield 6 free trial is available through August 25 and includes the Top Gun: Carrier Strike mode. The access window also opens Tsuru Reef, the returning Wake Island and a total of six modes to players who meet the account and platform requirements.

Battlefield 6 free trial: confirmed details

Tsuru Reef combines an island chain with naval, land and air vehicles. Wake Island returns with its shoreline, bunkers and offshore carrier. Carrier Strike divides squads across multiple fronts with the goal of destroying the opposing carrier, while Conquest supplies the traditional large-scale combined-arms option.

What changes for players

The trial is broad enough to test infantry flow and vehicle coordination rather than one scripted showcase. Carrier Strike gives aircraft and naval pressure a clear shared objective, while Wake Island provides a familiar comparison point for long-time players. Progress and availability should still be checked before assuming trial access transfers between platforms.

Timing and wider context

Battlefield REDSEC and current game updates are required on the applicable platform. The trial can be used once per EA account and requires an internet connection plus acceptance of EA terms. Electronic Arts notes that timing can change.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 18, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.
