Overpass 2024 Collection: Five Best Designs

We rank five standout designs from CS2’s Overpass 2024 Collection by theme, silhouette fit, finish clarity and how well each weapon carries the map’s identity.

Weapon readability remains central to every CS2 finish.

The Overpass 2024 Collection treats the map as a design kit: transit colors, concrete utility, water, signage and public infrastructure. The strongest finishes translate one part of that environment into a weapon-sized composition instead of pasting a landmark across every surface.

Visual identity

Our five design standouts are AK-47 | B the Monster, Zeus x27 | Dragon Snore, AWP | Crakow!, AUG | Eye of Zapems and Dual Berettas | Sweet Little Angels. B the Monster leads because its bold creature graphic follows the AK’s long body while still leaving distinct dark breaks around the magazine and controls.

Animation and sound language

Crakow! uses comic-panel energy that becomes more legible as the large AWP moves through an inspect. Dragon Snore benefits from the Zeus silhouette’s novelty, turning a compact utility item into a character object. Eye of Zapems and Sweet Little Angels use repeated illustration without losing their basic weapon outline.

Readability in a live match

A collection skin works in first person, on the ground and as a small inventory tile. Strong contrast gives these five an advantage. Their main motif occupies a clear zone, and none depends entirely on microscopic writing to communicate its theme.

Why the design lasted

Overpass 2024 is most successful when it embraces the map’s strange coexistence of civic order and underground monsters. The best finishes could only plausibly belong to this location. That specificity gives the collection more identity than a group tied together by color alone.
