LoL 26.15 cuts Bastionbreaker’s price by 200 gold
LoL Patch 26.15 lowers Bastionbreaker to 3,000 gold, strengthens its Shaped Charge and buffs Terminus and Yun Tal Wildarrows for scaling builds. Analysis.
League of Legends Patch 26.15 reduced Bastionbreaker’s price from 3,200 to 3,000 gold and increased the base true damage on Shaped Charge from 30 to 50. Riot framed the July 29, 2026 change as an attempt to help one of the least-selected lethality items compete while preserving its team-oriented structure damage role.
Terminus and Yun Tal Wildarrows also received scaling buffs. The changes sit beside champion adjustments to Kai’Sa, Locke, Maokai, Mordekaiser, Naafiri, Riven, Sylas, Volibear and Zac.
Bastionbreaker reaches its utility earlier
The 200-gold reduction matters because lethality builds often depend on completing an item before a decisive objective setup. Shaped Charge now deals 50 plus 150% of lethality as true damage, rather than 30 plus the same lethality ratio. The item therefore arrives sooner and contributes more before the user has stacked a full late-game build.
Riot said the item had been near the bottom of the pick-rate table and argued that lethality users investing gold in team utility is healthy. That does not make Bastionbreaker automatic. Assassins still give up competing damage profiles, and a structure-focused passive only matters when the team can reach a tower safely.
The decision belongs in a map plan. A team that wins side-lane pressure can convert the lower price into earlier structure damage; a team permanently grouped around neutral objectives may receive less value. Our analysis of the map cost of lane swaps explains why tower access cannot be evaluated in isolation.
Terminus and Yun Tal aim at later power
Terminus retained 30 magic damage on hit and added ratios of 10% bonus attack damage and 10% ability power. Riot wants the item to function more clearly as a capstone for scaling on-hit builds rather than only a mid-game spike.
Yun Tal Wildarrows became cheaper at 750 gold and moved from 40% to 45% attack speed. The patch notes describe it as a scaling critical-strike option that had fallen behind a broader set of early purchases. Jack of All Trades was weakened separately, with its adaptive force rewards at five and ten unique stats reduced from 10/25 to 8/20.
Riot’s official Patch 26.15 notes include every champion and alternate-mode change. Competitive teams should test item timings inside full objective sequences, using the preparation window described in our 90-second objective setup.
