Our editorial mission
Kaizensclan explains the decisions, systems and visual design behind competitive games. We publish reporting, analysis, reviews and practical guides for readers who want evidence and context rather than recycled reaction.
Editorial judgement belongs to the named author and responsible editor. Commercial relationships never guarantee coverage, placement, a score or a favourable conclusion.
Reporting and verification
We distinguish confirmed information, direct observation and analysis. Match reports are checked against official tournament sources where available. Patch and product claims are verified against official documentation, direct testing or clearly identified primary material.
Anonymous information is used only when the source is in a position to know the facts and disclosure would create a credible risk. The responsible editor must know the source’s identity.
Reviews and scoring
Reviews are based on representative play, disclosed platforms and the version available during the review period. Scores summarise the published reasoning; they do not replace it. Access supplied by a publisher does not determine the verdict.
Material technical changes may lead to an update note or a new assessment. Cosmetics are evaluated as visual and cultural objects, never presented as investments or gameplay advantages.
Guides and updates
Guides prioritise repeatable decisions, observable triggers and drills readers can test. Every guide should state the relevant game, explain its assumptions and carry a review date when patches can change the advice.
When an update invalidates a central recommendation, we revise, archive or clearly label the material rather than leave obsolete instructions unmarked.
Images and AI disclosure
Kaizensclan may use generated editorial artwork when suitable licensed photography is unavailable. Generated images are used as illustration, not as evidence of an event, person, product or match result, and are credited in the related material.
Editorial text remains the responsibility of the named author and editor. Automation may support research organisation, transcription or production checks, but it does not remove the requirement to verify claims and sources.
Conflicts, gifts and commercial work
Writers disclose relationships that could reasonably affect a reader’s interpretation. Staff do not accept payment for editorial conclusions. Travel, review access or event credentials supplied by another organisation are disclosed when material.
Sponsored work must be labelled before the headline and visually separated from independent editorial coverage. Affiliate relationships, if introduced, must be disclosed near the relevant link.
Corrections and updates
Factual errors are corrected promptly and transparently. Material corrections receive a dated note explaining what changed. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice when they do not alter meaning.
