Once Human will reorganize its in-game shop after the August 24 PT version update, Starry Studio announced on August 21. The plan removes selected low-traffic cosmetics from the regular catalog, simplifies category navigation and adds a Personal Hub page.

Once Human: confirmed details

The developer says the catalog has become difficult to browse, its category tree requires too many steps and the top bar contains too much information. Three-level tabs will be replaced with top-level filters. Removed items are not permanently retired and may return through the Wish Bazaar, reruns or other future methods.

What changes for players

A smaller catalog can make discovery easier, but a removal notice also creates purchase pressure. The promise of future returns is important because it means the update is rotation, not confirmed permanent scarcity. Players should make cosmetic decisions around personal use rather than assuming an item will become an investment.

Release and platform context

The shop changes concern presentation and availability, not ownership. Starry Studio has not said that already purchased cosmetics will disappear from player accounts. The Personal Hub will gather relevant account options after the update. Exact item lists and return timing remain governed by the live shop and later notices.

Her criticism looks at first-person readability, animation language, material separation and the way sound changes a cosmetic through repetition. She also reports on the production process behind collections and the community culture that grows around them.
