Yet Another Zombie Survivors 1.0 has launched after roughly three years in Early Access. The full release adds a ninth survivor called the Ranger, a circular Bio Lab arena, a ten-minute Boss Rush structure and a Camp hub that links missions, radio messages and story material.

Yet Another Zombie Survivors: confirmed details

The Ranger fights with a crossbow and animal companions and supports builds around critical chance, luck and healing. Bio Lab surrounds the playable area with hazardous contamination and decontamination pressure. In Boss Rush, players develop a build until the ten-minute mark, face a final boss and can compare results through leaderboards.

What changes for players

The new character widens team composition while the two modes test different priorities: Bio Lab makes positioning central, and Boss Rush rewards efficient early scaling. Camp gives the run-based structure a persistent place for objectives and context. Existing saves should be backed up before the major transition even though the developer has not announced a general wipe.

Timing and wider context

A small 1.0.0a hotfix followed the release to address interface locks, decontamination deaths and several ability or model errors. That rapid patch does not change the scope of the main launch, but players should make sure they are on the newest client before reporting a problem from the original 1.0 build.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 20, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For Yet Another Zombie Survivors, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
