ETS2 1.61 adds Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition

ETS2 1.61 will add the Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition to the base game as Volvo Group approaches its 2027 centenary. SCS Software says the anniversary configuration will arrive with the upcoming update and will not require a separately named paid truck pack.

The digital truck uses the Aero XL cabin and includes Night and Day paint schemes, plus two light-box options carrying either a 100-year or FH16 design. Inside, it has black leather, contrast stitching, branded carpets, a rear-wall emblem, a revised dashboard ambience and selectable red or blue LED lighting.

What changes for players

The edition is primarily a detailed manufacturer collaboration, not a new physics model or cargo system. Its value comes from a coherent factory-style exterior and interior package that players can use without assembling unrelated accessories. Existing Volvo drivers should still check the live configurator because compatible chassis, engines and accessory slots are not fully itemised in the preview.

Timing and wider context

SCS ties the release to version 1.61 but has not announced the final public rollout date in this post. Open-beta content may differ from the stable build, and accessories can move during testing. Volvo Group was established in 1927, which is why the 100-year model appears ahead of the 2027 anniversary.
