War Thunder Update 2.57.1.98 adds anti-radiation missiles to a broad group of aircraft. AGM-45 Shrike variants arrive for several American and Israeli jets, while the AS-37 Martel and Kh-27PS expand options for selected British, French, Soviet and Italian aircraft.

War Thunder: confirmed details

The F-4C, F-105D, F-111A and Ayit receive early Shrike variants; other Phantom, Corsair and Intruder models receive later B-9 or B-10 versions. Tornado GR.1, Buccaneer S.2B and Jaguar A gain the Martel, while Su-22M3 variants gain the Kh-27PS.

What changes for players

Anti-radiation weapons create a dedicated response to emitting radar defenses, making radar discipline and positioning more important. Their effect depends on aircraft, modification research and live seeker behavior rather than simply adding another universal guided missile.

Timing and wider context

The patch also restores CCRP bombing for nuclear aircraft, changes several nation-specific nuclear carriers and fixes crew replenishment for repeated ground-vehicle roles. These live changes follow the separate Nuclear Escalation preview.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 19, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For War Thunder, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
