Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition launches for PlayStation 5 on October 1 with the Echoes of Sekigahara narrative expansion and Most Wanted single-player survival mode. Existing owners can buy a $14.99 upgrade, while the $69.99 Complete Edition also includes the main game and Legends co-op content.

Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition: confirmed details

Echoes of Sekigahara moves between the present and Atsu’s mainland past, adds a valley once controlled by the Vipers and introduces heavy weapons, armour and dyes. Most Wanted is a roguelike-style bounty mode with playable characters including Atsu, Oyuki and Nagato. Version 2.0 also adds new music, cosmetics, trophies and photo options.

What changes for players

The upgrade path prevents current owners from repurchasing the full game to access both major modes. A free October patch adds Beauty of Yōtei, appearance transmog for armour stats and a high-contrast accessibility option even for players who do not buy the expansion content.

Timing and wider context

The patch arrives globally October 1 and on October 2 in some Asian and Oceanic territories. Pre-order items are described as early unlocks rather than permanently exclusive gear, and downloading the new content requires an internet connection and PlayStation account.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 12, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For Ghost of Yōtei, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
