Cloudheim adds offline mode and four contest weapons
Cloudheim adds offline mode and four contest weapons. The game now falls back when a connection drops and expands combat, decoration and save optimization.
Cloudheim can now run without an internet connection through a manual setting or an automatic fallback when connectivity fails. Noodle Cat Games places the manual switch under Settings, Account and Force Offline Mode.
Cloudheim: confirmed details
Online multiplayer, Shared Worlds and creating or converting a Shared World remain unavailable offline. Existing Shared Worlds are not deleted and return after reconnection. The update also adds four community contest weapons, more Homestead decorations and a tougher Quarry Guardian.
What changes for players
Offline fallback lets solo progress continue during a service or connection problem instead of ending the session. The limitation on Shared Worlds is expected because those saves depend on network services, so groups should reconnect before assuming a shared campaign has disappeared.
Timing and wider context
Manually forcing offline mode while still connected keeps saves associated with the Steam or Epic account and allows normal cloud-save behavior. Players should still verify a completed synchronization before moving between devices.
The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 19, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.
For Cloudheim, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
