Palworld v1.0.3 is live with a broad pass over technology requirements, crafting costs and resource production. The balance changes mainly reduce friction before the World Tree and make several useful construction tools available much earlier.

Palworld v1.0.3: confirmed details

Jetragon technology moved from level 79 to 70, while the Aquatic Construction Kit moved from level 66 to 23 and now costs one Ancient Technology Point instead of four. World Tree water lasts longer and weighs 0.1 instead of one. Crude Oil Extractors cost fewer materials and work faster, and fiber output has doubled.

What changes for players

Moving the aquatic kit down by 43 levels changes when water building becomes a practical option rather than merely trimming a late-game bill. Faster oil production reduces waiting around a resource bottleneck, while lighter water helps expeditions carry supplies without surrendering as much inventory capacity. These are progression changes, not just endgame balance nudges.

Timing and wider context

The update also fixes issues across co-op, Pal behavior, combat and construction. Pocketpair did not present v1.0.3 as a content expansion, so players should expect a smoother economy rather than a new region or story chapter. Exact recipes remain easiest to verify in the current technology menu.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 12, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.
