ESO Update 51 Public Test Server changes reduce several parts of the Dragonknight’s burst and sustain package in response to testing. Core of Flame resource restoration falls from 15% to 12%, while Heart of Flame healing is reduced by 20%.

ESO Update 51: confirmed details

Seething Fury is halved in PvP, and Power Lash loses direct damage while retaining a bonus against monsters. Judgment’s Brand rises from 1,400 to 1,600 but remains halved in PvP. Nightblade Strife gains 1% damage for every 10% current Health.

What changes for players

Separating PvP and monster modifiers lets the team target competitive burst without applying every reduction equally to PvE. Testers should evaluate complete rotations rather than one tooltip, because resource return, healing and direct damage now move together.

Timing and wider context

These are PTS values and can change before Update 51 reaches live servers. ZeniMax also describes some Necromancer adjustments as temporary, reinforcing that this is a feedback build rather than final balance.

The feature list and timing above reflect the developer’s announcement published on August 13, 2026. Future hotfixes can adjust balance or availability, so live values should be checked against the current client.

For The Elder Scrolls Online, the practical checkpoint is the live client: confirm the installed version, platform notes and regional rollout before relying on a scheduled feature. Store availability, maintenance windows and certification can create timing differences even when the developer announces one date for the wider release.
