LEC Summer Finals 2026 head to Nice for three days

LEC Summer Finals 2026 will be held at Palais Nikaia in Nice, France, from September 18–20. The arena weekend features one best-of-five each day, crowns the Summer champion and decides EMEA’s third and final place at Worlds 2026.

The event closes a nine-week Summer Split that moves through Paris, Berlin and Madrid before reaching the French Riviera. Riot says the in-house presentation language in Nice will be French.

LEC Summer Finals 2026 decide the last Worlds seed

Three match days create a simple arena rhythm: one full best-of-five on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That schedule avoids splitting the crowd’s attention across simultaneous series and leaves room for a complete lower-bracket finish before the title match.

The sporting stakes go beyond the regional trophy. The weekend determines which team claims the last of the LEC’s three places at the League of Legends World Championship in North America.

Palais Nikaia replaces Madrid as the destination for the league’s closing weekend. The move continues the LEC’s 2026 Roadtrip strategy, which places major moments in different home markets instead of keeping the complete split in Berlin.

Nice completes the LEC’s four-city summer

The six playoff teams will be known after the regular season ends on August 30. The bracket then runs from September 5 until the Nice final on September 20.
