LEC Summer 2026 adds four-day weeks and two Roadtrips

The LEC Summer 2026 format puts ten teams into a best-of-three single round robin before six advance to a double-elimination playoff bracket. The split runs from July 24 to September 20 and includes Roadtrip weekends in Paris and Madrid before the finals in Nice.

Regular-season play lasts through August 30. Riot scheduled two series per show day, with three matches on the final day, and expanded most weeks to run from Friday through Monday.

LEC Summer 2026 format rewards a complete round robin

Every team faces every other team once in a best-of-three. The top six then move into a seeded double-elimination bracket made entirely of best-of-five series, giving the strongest regular-season teams a more forgiving route while keeping elimination matches decisive.

Most Berlin days with two matches begin at 17:00 CEST. The three-match final regular-season day starts at 14:00 CEST, while playoff show days are scheduled around one best-of-five at 17:00 CEST.

The new Studio Stage at the Riot Games Arena allows LEC and VCT EMEA broadcasts to run simultaneously. Some Monday and Friday matches are broadcast-only, so fans should check the ticketed Arena Stage schedule rather than assume every Berlin date has an audience.

Paris and Madrid carry two key weekends

Karmine Corp hosted the July 24–26 opening weekend at adidas arena in Paris. Movistar KOI will host the first playoff weekend at Madrid Arena on September 5–6, including the Liga Española de League of Legends final on Sunday.
