GO4LoL is running four weekly League Classic tournaments on the North American server in August. The online series uses open five-versus-five qualifiers and sends eight teams to a final on August 29.

Qualifiers are scheduled for each Saturday from August 1 through August 22. Registration opened July 25, and each qualifier is a single-day, single-elimination competition.

Two teams advance from each weekly qualifier

The top two teams from every qualifier secure places in the final. With four qualifying events, the format produces an eight-team championship field.

Because the tournaments are held online on the North American server, teams need to meet the organizer’s current registration and eligibility rules. The announcement provides the broad structure; the live tournament page remains the source for check-in times and any administrative updates.

A single-elimination qualifier leaves little room for recovery. Teams cannot rely on a lower bracket after one loss, which makes preparation for the opening matchup unusually important.

League Classic changes the competitive reference point

League Classic revisits an earlier version of the game rather than the current live environment. Riot describes the Season 3-inspired mode as featuring 60 champions alongside period items, runes and masteries.

That means current professional drafts should not be copied without adjustment. Our LoL flex-pick guide remains useful as a way to think about information, but the actual champion pool and item system differ. Our tournament format analysis explains why single elimination rewards immediate performance.

The first qualifier has already taken place as of August 5. Players interested in later weeks should verify that registration remains open before assembling a roster.
